Food

Lean adult food. They stay athletic if you do not free-feed.

Home

Need toys, perches, and a person who talks back. A silent empty apartment is a bad fit.

Company

Vocal companion. They narrate the day. Do not get one if you want a quiet cat.

Coat

Weekly wipe. Short coat.

What tends to stress them

  • Being left alone
  • Boredom
  • No conversation

Breed risks to mention to a vet

  • Progressive retinal atrophy
  • Amyloidosis
  • Asthma

A breed risk is not a diagnosis for your cat.
