Fariborz was only 1 year and 2 months old when he got FIP. By the time I understood how serious it was, it was already late. His liver was badly affected, and later it reached his eyes too. I spent almost $10,000 trying to save him, but we could not make it.
The hardest part is that, looking back, some signs were there earlier. He wasn't exactly the same, but I didn't know what those signs meant. It was my first time facing something like this.
Maybe if I had noticed those small changes one month earlier, or even a few weeks earlier, things could have been different. That is why I built Borzi.
