For a kitten
How many litter boxes does a kitten need?
One kitten needs two boxes. The useful rule is one box per cat, plus one extra.
Put them in quiet spots, not next to the food or water. Scoop every day. Leave the boxes where they are while the kitten is learning the home.
Do not punish a miss. Wipe it up and note where it happened.
Look closer if
- They strain in the box.
- They visit often and little comes out.
- They stop using the box.
Ask a vet if one of these shows up. This is not a diagnosis.
Add your kitten for age-specific guidance
The answer stays free. Borzi keeps the note with your kitten. It does not decide there is a urinary problem.
