For a kitten
What should I do if my kitten eats something unsafe?
Kittens explore with their mouths. Everyday household items can be dangerous.
If you suspect they ate something toxic, call a vet or a pet poison control line immediately.
Do not try to make the kitten vomit unless a veterinarian explicitly tells you to. Vomiting can worsen damage from some chemicals or sharp objects.
Keep the packaging or a clear photo of the plant they chewed so the vet knows what they were exposed to.
Before accidents happen, Borzi can help you scan a room and look up plants and foods. It does not replace poison control or emergency care.
Common household dangers
- Lilies, including pollen.
- Onions and garlic.
- Grapes.
- Chocolate.
- Xylitol (artificial sweetener).
- Human medications.
Look closer if
- They have trouble breathing.
- They collapse.
- They vomit repeatedly. Go to an emergency clinic now.
Ask a vet if one of these shows up. This is not a diagnosis.
The answer stays free. Borzi can store vet contacts and run safety checks on your space. It does not decide what they swallowed or whether to induce vomiting.
